All skins

The smallest clan, born as an isolated refuge for defectors from ancient rivals. Predominantly white-appearing but including every shade, it alone has tamed Ninxx Noir Noir.

Engineer. Billx designed an underground city expansion that doubled Auaxskn population capacity in the working manuscript. During the crisis he runs the tunnel-defense automation. Capacity is not presented as a census.

Healer. Bixtovixx has an extraordinary reputation as a healer. When Blaxskn warriors seek help for Warp-proximity symptoms beyond their own clan's medical knowledge, she treats them without hesitation.

The predominantly very dark-skinned clan of Texxaarn culture and mountainous island homelands.

Oral historian. Brannixx preserves the Blaxskn oral record. She observes the council from beside the clan's representatives, then documents the mobilization of its people. Her work protects a history the clan has learned not to leave to others.

Militia captain. Braxtoninx positions the fleet's marine detachments defensively, treating the ships themselves as the first perimeter. His tactics extend the swamp principle that terrain is part of the defense.

Second to the Clan Chief. JD Blaxskn's second acts on the Chief's decisions without requiring another instruction. During the unfolding boundary crisis, Broxx receives and deploys the clan's orders.

Southern Chain warrior. Coexdy is a young, ambitious member of the garrison. The boundary's behavior changes his restless energy into focus. He witnesses events for which confidence and the training manual are not enough.

Trader. Dallaxxs closes merchant routes to the Southern Chain as the crisis unfolds, turning the trading network toward operational security.

Council warrior & boundary reader. Daurex has jet-black skin, deep-set eyes and the ceremonial gravity of a warrior who reads the boundary as a rancher reads weather. He wears black Noirplate and carries the Noirblade.

Bayou navigator. Derkonivixx is the clan's foremost bayou navigator in the working story. At Lorax's request she takes the flagship helm, applying knowledge of hidden waterways to the open ocean.

Combat specialist. Dreyxxmaan is a foremost Auaxskn combat specialist and stands at the vanguard during the mobilization. His techniques are described as something others must observe and survive.

The ancient name retained for clan strongholds in remembrance of the hundred-year wars and the immense journeys made to fight rival clans.

Warrior of the southern approach. Goliadxx bears a name drawn from an ancient massacre site. In the working story he takes position at the southern approach without waiting for an order.

Territorial defense commander. Houxxston holds the Blaxskn territorial-defense seat at the council. He activates the defense grid as the southern situation develops and covers the rear when the clan leaves the chamber.

Scout. Hunxter works alone for weeks at a time, moving through the western islands and sending terse reports. He returns with readings gathered in terrain dangerous to the unprepared.

A massive Blaxskn animal, roughly twice an ordinary Texas bull, with sharp obsidian-black horns and saber-like tusks. Also encountered as Javelina Bullvix in the working story.

Weaponsmith. Jaxe carries out final maintenance on the fleet's Vennlance Arrays. Her tools are valued for their durability in the demanding environments of the Lauxtskn.

Clan Chief. JD Blaxskn leads the Blaxskn clan. In council, his interventions are brief and decisive. Broxx serves at his right as his second, while Houxxston carries responsibility for territorial defense.

Intelligence operative. Jillx has traveled beyond Auaxskn territory under three false identities without compromise. She runs counter-intelligence checks on the Vennixx descent route, asking what else may be listening.

Clan Matriarch & psycher. Jinthianx is the Lauxtskn Clan Matriarch and a psycher of the first order. Her authority reaches beyond the council chamber through a network of seers and spiritual leaders.

Primary psycher & political advisor. Joexl advises Tanxxc and has met privately with a Lauxtskn psycher. He reads the consequences of that contact alongside the new signal data, processing carefully and trusting little.

Elder strategist. Jonaauxthen has traveled farther across Vxxtorrea than any living Blaxskn in the working manuscript. He joins JD in the war room, bringing experience from a world whose scale makes travel itself an achievement.

Winter-operations executor. Juliax is the executor paired with strategist Juliaxn. Their coordinated operations form a trusted part of Tanxxc's response. The manuscript does not supply a new personal appearance for this page.

Winter-operations strategist. Juliaxn is the strategist in the twin combination with Juliax. Under Tanxxc's direction, their winter company is repositioned to cover the southern approach and the polar corridor.

Cultural historian. Kalwonivixx maintains the oral and written record of Lauxtskn music, food and spiritual practice. She records the council argument as carefully as any formal event, and later joins the seer observatory.

Council warrior & expedition point. Kauxx has dark West Coast Auaxskn skin and wears grey-blue Stormplate. His presence preserves an essential truth about the clan: Auaxskn includes every shade, not only pale faces.

The semi-aquatic Vyper Liion, with silver, scaly, razor-sharp skin. It is not the flying breed.

Clan elder. LaDavianx is the oldest living Auaxskn in the working manuscript and has witnessed four Warp surges. He waits outside the research suite as a witness to Tyvien and Vyxenne's departure.

Clan historian. LaPauxxl knows the layered notation of the Auaxskn. Vyxenne's personal codex uses a system he would recognize, while departing from the standard form of the clan's record.

Cultural mediator. Laquaviaxuxs wants to understand the other clans rather than simply outlast them. During the mobilization she opens a direct channel to Blaxskn command, bridging a long interruption in contact.

Ly-un

A cunning and deceptive person or animal native to Vxxtorrea or Vennixx. Also a way of speaking or acting that makes fact and fiction difficult to distinguish.

Fleet commander & council delegate. Lorax has warm-brown skin and wears dark-bronze Valorplate. He heads the Lauxtskn delegation in council and brings practical command judgment to exchanges that can quickly become personal.

Celebrated cook. Maddixxsn feeds the flagship and its warriors. The manuscript treats her craft as a serious contribution to morale and readiness, placing the galley within the story of how a fleet is sustained.

Granx Matriarchtryxx Omega Moninxx, the Mother of All Liions. A legendary Matriarch of Vennixx, not a fifth dictionary-listed subspecies.

Senior seer. Naxx is the precise, senior Lauxtskn voice who challenges Daurex's reading of the boundary. She distinguishes an ordinary fluctuation from a communicative act by something beyond it.

Trade negotiator & logistics coordinator. Rextoninx brings negotiation experience to the fleet's supply lines and consumption planning. Dealing with Blaxskn merchants under pressure is familiar work, even when it is not pleasant.

A repeated name; an unanswered question. Reyx Reyx is present somewhere in the operational theater. His repeated name is a deliberate designation in the manuscript. The text leaves its reason unexplained, and so does this profile.

Master Javelina Bullvix handler. Tyrixxs is a master handler of the Javelina Bullvix. As the herds sense the boundary's agitation, he moves them away from the southern perimeter. The creator's later lore establishes riding and herding as wider Blaxskn cultural practices.

King, warlord, scholar & protector. Thirteen feet tall without his armor, Tyvien stands at the center of Vxxtorrea's story. An immortal leader and protector, he has never lost in battle. His skin is described as an extraordinary, near-lightless black; his approved visual identity carries long salt-and-pepper dreadlocks and the presence of an ancient, wise warrior.

Southern Chain sergeant. Vael is the Southwest Coast Blaxskn sergeant beside Roux at the western post. His practical instructions are to watch, log positions and remain at station. When the mountain calls, he makes sure Roux understands who is asking.

Slang for a brother or native of Vxxtorrea. Also a shortened name for the planet.

A material used in armor, buckles and bonded black-stone structures. In the working story it reacts to particular resonances.

Lauxtskn of the fleet. Vxxtorixx carries the same planetary naming heritage as her brother Vxxtorninx. While he attends the spiritual post, she joins the fleet. No further military rank is assigned in this profile.

Bearer of the pre-battle rites. Vxxtorninx carries a name honoring the planet. He travels to the southern spiritual post to perform the rites that precede Lauxtskn military action. Vxxtorixx is his sister.

Vik-tor-Re-ah

An enormous planet described as the size of five Jupiters, with thousands of mountainous jungle islands and oceans. The literal meaning is Victor of Terra. The source does not specify mass, diameter or volume.

Vyyper-Lyun

Four subspecies of venomous saber-toothed predators. In the lore, their venom is fatal within seconds to hours and causes extreme pain. Most Vxxtorreans resist the toxins, but none resist the pain. Rare on their moon of origin, Vennixx, they are bred on Vxxtorrea for war and sport. Genetic deterioration after successive generations requires dangerous returns to the moon for novel genes.

Voidwalker & council member. Vyxenne has white skin and white hair associated with albinism, and sky-blue eyes. She carries a codex and the Voidripper, a seer-forged Vennite-Nxxbone hybrid. Her precision is a defining part of her presence.

The protected region within the surrounding Warp where Vxxtorrea exists, sheltered by Tyvien's extraordinary energy and power.

Garrison engineer. Waxde maintains the resonance array and the infrastructure of the western post. As the boundary changes, he records what the instruments reveal, recalibrating equipment he designed himself.
